Pre-Closing

Customer Responsibilities

• Verify mortgage commitment, homeowner's insurance and title insurance are in place 60 days prior to project closing
• Verify that all closing conditions have been satisfied and obtain list of all documents required by mortgage company for closing
• Attend new home orientation 1-2 business days before closing
• Ensure that all funds required for closing are available
• Contact all utilities regarding transfer of service
• Verify your mortgage company has notified title company of the final numbers at least 5 days prior to closing

• Finalize customer’s new home financing and funds needed for closing
• Coordinate mortgage documents with customer, title company and builder 5 days prior to closing
• Inform customer of all documents needed by mortgage company for closing
